Board Certification and the board review course 2012 Featured
In medicine „Board Certification„ usually refers to a certificate issues upon completing a specialist training program and an exam testing the learned proficiency. Although Board Certified specialities are widely accepted, there is to date no comprehensive
training program with official exams and recognition of Aesthetic Surgery as its own speciality. It is the common goal of the World Academy of Cosmetic Surgery(WAOCS) and the European Society of Aesthetic Surgery(ESAS) to achieve official recognition of "Board Certification" in the various area of aesthetic surgery. A clearly defined syllabus and curriculum will eventually find official recognition. The Board Review Course serves as a comprehensive preparation for the Board Exam not only reviewing a great deal of material but also outlining the total curriculum.
